Era Galindo is a transfeminine queer artist whose work spans multiple mediums including sculpture, photography, ceramics, and installation. My work is reflective of my queer identity, usually using the subject of the body as a means to communicate social, political, or internal turmoil. Using techniques such as mold making, life casting, and self-portraiture in contrast with geometric forms to depict fragments of a body. The human bodies I depict in my work are abstracted through fragmentation and categorization.
